John Hughes - Watercolour Artist and Tutor |

| John Hughes is an artist with a lifetime's experience in art education. He trained at Cambridge Art School, Kingston School of Art and Goldsmith's College London.
He has had work accepted on several occasions in prestigious London Open Shows, The Sunday Times Watercolour Competition, and the Laing Seascape and Landscape competition. He has had work accepted by The Royal Watercolour Society in an open competition that encourages excellence, innovation and a fresh approach to the use of this traditional medium. His classes, primarily watercolour based, also cover approaches with mixed media. These classes are not merely skills based but endeavour to improve the students understanding and knowledge of the complete artistic process.
